The Shizit Militia was first put up in 2002 as a friend of mine and I found that with the death of mp3.com, there wasn’t a source of Shizit news or music around. The original site was up for several years, thanks to Ooshna, Rufus, Ogrosticlops, and myself.

After a few years, unknown to myself, the domain expired and the site went dead. In 2008 I rehosted the militia site, resurrecting the old site exactly and leaving it be.

When JP released the New Category album, I redid the site completely using MKPortal, which unfortunately had several issues. So here we are on a WordPress install…which may well be the permanent incarnation of the site.

The Shizit deserve a permanent fan site. No other band has replicated their sound, and I doubt any will. Thanks for visiting! We’ll hopefully be updating regularly.
