Soundtrack for the Revolution (a.k.a SoFTeR) was The Shizit’s only full-length album. Released on October 17th, 2001, this was also their first CD to be carried by major stores (Musicwerks, Tower Records, HMV, etc). The album is almost entirely new material, never before heard, and really showcases what The Shizit is all about. From the head-stomping, industrial mayhem of Audio Jihad II, Spit AK, AntiCulture, and Econobeing, to the brooding digital grooves of Pain Compliance, SoFTeR, I Walk Through Walls, and Firewall, this CD really does feel like the soundtrack of riot. Even the two re-recorded tracks (Point Click Kill and Herdcore) sound new, with amped up guitars and new mastering. If there was any good way to go out with a bang, this was it.
